Who is P.J. Beaumont?

P.J. Beaumont is a former EMT with extensive training and experience in swiftwater rescue.  In a career that has spanned several decades, he has worked as a photographer, videographer, and reporter in the Washington, DC area, where he has written, photographed, or produced stories for every major local news outlet.  His work has also been featured in national publications such as National Geographic World, Time, Newsweek, American Heritage, and Life Magazine’s The Year In Pictures.  He has covered the White House and many Washington DC institutions and events for international publications. He was a professional whitewater raft guide on the Cheat River, and for 12 years he operated a whitewater kayaking school. Other items on his personal resume include singer/songwriter, competition pistol shooter, bicycle racer/master mechanic, backpacker, science fiction writer, and professional bank robber (it’s true, but probably not the way you think). He has done other things that his lawyers and the federal government have advised him not to mention.   He is the co-creator of Tactical Pajamas.
